Current development stage
What is live now, what we are actively refining, and what is coming next for DeadMark + DeadDetect across image, video, audio, provenance workflows, and backend detection tooling.
Investor-safe site + demo overlays live
Public website is live with product pages and demonstration overlays for image, video, and audio evidence visualization (UID / confidence / trace-oriented messaging).
Image / video / audio demo focus
Current engineering and product effort is focused on media watermarking + verification workflows for image, video, and audio before broader SDK rollout.
C2PA-aware, not C2PA-dependent
We support manifest-aware workflows where available, while keeping internal UID recovery + decode logs as a separate verification path if metadata is missing or stripped.
Backend integration validation
DeadDetect API positioning is focused on backend services, moderation/compliance pipelines, and audit/verification workflows rather than a front-end experience as the primary product surface.
Text / docs / code support track (coming soon)
Text, document, and code watermarking support is in roadmap planning, with an initial target of June 2026 for partner-preview direction and early integration discussion.
Current build focus (updated)
- Refine evidence overlays and metadata/log hints used in investor-safe demonstrations
- Harden demo flows and contact/demo request reliability across deployments
- Expand backend-oriented DeadDetect API messaging and integration guidance
- Prepare private walkthroughs under NDA with partner assets and workflow-specific examples
- Define text/document/code watermarking API surface and verification strategy (coming soon)
Stage map
Foundation + showcase readiness
Website, messaging, product pages, and evidence-driven demonstrations for image/video/audio. Focus is clarity for investors and early design partners.
Pilot-focused SDK/API hardening
Improve reliability, logging, survivability reporting, and operational verification flows for private partner demos and initial integrations.
Format expansion (text / docs / code)
Extend watermarking + verification concepts beyond media into text outputs, documents, and code artifacts with traceable logs and evidence-first validation.
Near-term note
The current public demo intentionally emphasizes verification evidence, UID traceability, and backend workflow language. Front-end visuals shown on the site are demonstration overlays, not the primary product scope of DeadDetect API.
